Judicial Committee of the Privy Council 〈英〉枢密院司法委员会 是根据1833年的《司法委员会法》〔Judicial Committee Act〕成立的司法裁判机构,其成员包括枢密院院长和各前任院长、御前大臣、上议院常任上诉法官〔Lords of Appeal in Ordinary〕,以及不超过六位现为或者曾经是英国自治领〔Dominion〕的高级法官且现任枢密院成员者。该委员会主要受理来自英国各自治领或附属领地的任何上诉案件,包括刑事的和民事的,但已成为独立国家且取消了向该委员会上诉的地区除外,有些案件的上诉需要取得枢密院的特别许可。司法委员会的管辖权还包括受理来自教会法院〔Ecclesiastical Courts〕和捕获法院〔Prize Courts〕的上诉案件,其对案件的审理是终局的。此外,司法委员会还有权听审对某些专业组织(如医疗总会〔General Medical Council〕)所作的取消其注册成员资格的决定提出的上诉。司法委员会不正式发布判决,但其对案件的裁决结果会在公开法庭上宣读,并告知女王。为使该裁决结果生效,尚需签发枢密院令〔order in Council〕。在以前,与裁决结果不同的反对意见〔dissenting opinion〕不公布,但现在这一做法已有改变。
